More About Us:
The Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization - CEO’s mission as a student organization in the Bauer College of Business is to inform, support, and inspire college students to be entrepreneurial. It is open to all majors and is dedicated to provide a positive and supportive environment for students with an interest in starting their own business, expanding their current startup or learning about entrepreneurship, to seize business opportunities and being successful in their quest while in school. We’ve had successful student entrepreneurs start their own business while attending and right after graduating from school. Bauer College is one of the top diverse business schools in the nation representing over 140 countries.
Our organization also supports members in joining the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship (WCE). CEO beyond the university level is an actual national organization that strives to foster and nourish the ambitions of future innovators through national networking functions, round-table discussions, social activities, inspirational speakers, and educational resources. Officers and selected members of our organization fly out of state to network and participate in national entrepreneurial competitions. CEO strives to foster and nourish the ambitions of future CEOs through opportunities such as networking functions, round-table mentoring and discussions, social activities, inspiring speakers, educational resources, conferences, workshops, projects, websites, entrepreneurial internships, business consulting from our experienced mentors and more much more.
CEO is sharpening its tools and strives to strengthen its mission. We serve as a bridge towards great resources and educational experiences for members and companies. This organization still strives to diversify its resources to enhance the experience students seek. One of our stronger resources includes the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and its library. The Small Business Development Center is a government sponsored facility designed to support people in starting or owning small businesses. We also have connected globally with The Indus Entrepreneurs Organization (TIE), connecting with 52 chapters in over 11 countries. Due to the ability of students to showcase our resources, we are currently sponsored by New York Life, International Bank of Commerce, and Houston Strategic Forum.
