Spring 2013 Orientation!

Our spring orientation meeting is tonight at 7pm.

Location: Rec Center Classroom (on campus)

Time: 7PM-9PM

The meeting will focus on introducing you to CEO as an organization and the events that are planned this semester. Kirby Lammers, a UHCEO mentor, will be giving a talk on entrepreneurship and the officers will also be sharing some information about themselves.

Spring 2013 is going to be another great semester for CEO. Can’t wait to see everyone at orientation tonight!

Be Sweet Fundraiser!

CEO will be hosting a fundraiser for the Snowdrop Foundation by selling sweets on November 26th from 8am-4pm at the PGH Breezeway!

All treats are $1, so come buy your lunch worth! They’re also great as gifts.

Members are encouraged to help volunteer the “bake sale” and invite friends and family to buy sweets to help support children with cancer.

1st Round Table!

CEO’s first Round Table event of the semester is this Thursday, October 11th!

We’ve invited several mentors from Houston and Wolff Center alumni to help critique and develop our business ideas.

Don’t have a business idea? No worries. Most participants don’t have a business idea! Each member, if he/she chooses, gives a brief concept statement and receives feedback. The mentors share their feedback, and then other members share their thoughts or questions.

This is a great way to develop your presentation skills and to learn to clearly express your business idea.

Come join us, and don’t forget to dress formally!

The Round Table is free for CEO members and $10 for non-members, so bring any entrepreneurial friends!
